GOLDHOFER WINS TRAINAR AS NEW SALES AND SERVICE PARTNER

Goldhofer widens its Sales and Service network in Southern Europe by setting up a partnership with the experienced company Trainar Semirremolques from Northern Spain.

Since June 2023, the Spanish company Trainar Semirremolques has been the official Goldhofer Sales and Service representative for Spain and Portugal. “We are honored to have won a well-experienced and established partner for our customers in this region. Trainar comes with a wide range of services that offer fast and straightforward support,” says Dennis Leschensky, Director of Sales Europe / North Africa at Goldhofer.


Starting back in 1989, company founder Juan José Macías launched the Trainar brand. At the time, he already had 15 years of experience in advising and selling semi-trailers for special transport. Until 1997, Trainar sold and manufactured customised trailers. They initiated a cooperation with a renowned manufacturer of semitrailers in the same year and added heavy-duty modules to their product range shortly afterwards. With more than 45 years of experience now, Trainar offers the best-possible expertise for advising customers in the purchase, maintenance and sale of special transport equipment. With the new partnership as an official Goldhofer representative, Trainar has expanded its portfolio with Goldhofer’s high-quality trailers, semi-trailers, heavy-duty modules and special applications.


Customers in Spain and Portugal benefit from a wide range of services dedicated to operational excellence. First of all, of course, sales of new and used vehicles is one of the core competencies of Trainar’s well-experienced team. However, Trainar also offers a documentation service for obtaining permits (such as TÜV, SERT or Scheda Tecnica) as well as modification files for Technical Inspection Cards, for example when extension beams for low loaders are added after initial registration. When it comes to training, not only will operators be trained at delivery but also plans and tools for preventive maintenance programs are offered. Last but not least, Trainar takes care of their customers’ spare parts inventories. Repairs and maintenance can also be handled in Trainar’s own workshop.
